Children's Services

Welcome to the Children's Department!

The Children's Department is located on Level 5 of the library.

Four work stations with access to the Internet are available to those children (12 and under) whose parents or guardians have signed a card giving them permission. Adults with young children may also use the computers as long as there are no children waiting to use the computers. There is also a2  AWE Early Literacy Station which have fun interactive games and activities in math, science & nature, social studies & geography, reading, art & music, writing & computer skills, and reference for those ages 2-8.

We offer regularly scheduled storytimes for children 0-6 on most Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM.

New to our calendar are regularly scheduled STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) programs for children of all ages with a caregiver on the first Thursday of each month during the school year at 4:00PM.
